Kushner has officially broken ground on its newest multifamily residential project at 9300 Collins Avenue in Surfside, Florida. Just one block from the Atlantic Ocean and steps from the Bal Harbour Shops and Surfside’s vibrant downtown, the three-story development will bring a luxury rental offering to a market long characterized by for-sale condominiums.
The ceremonial groundbreaking took place on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, with local dignitaries in attendance, including Surfside Mayor Charles W. Burkett. The project will feature 68 upscale residences—ranging from studios to four-bedroom homes—designed to blend expansive indoor-outdoor living with floor-to-ceiling glass and premium condo-grade finishes. Completion is expected by late 2026.

Vision and Impact
"This development reflects a deep respect for Surfside’s character while introducing something meaningfully new and well-crafted," said Nicole Kushner Meyer, President of Kushner. "We saw an opportunity to pair a world-class location with a residential experience defined by thoughtful architecture, curated amenities, and a level of design typically reserved for high-end ownership properties."
This initiative not only marks Kushner’s debut in Surfside, but also forms part of the company’s growing footprint across South Florida, which includes projects in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The move to introduce a luxury rental concept in a predominantly condo-driven market answers a rising demand for flexible, high-end living options.
With lush landscaping, timeless architecture, and a prime location, 9300 Collins Avenue is poised to become a signature address in Surfside’s evolving skyline—offering residents an unmatched blend of heritage, lifestyle, and luxury.
