Plans have been submitted by Related Group and Macklowe Properties for a transformative residential development in North Bay Village. Designed by Arquitectonica, the project envisions two striking 43-story towers at 7946–8020 East Drive, comprising 364 luxury residences and 798 parking spaces. Unit layouts will range from one to four bedrooms, with an average size of 2,138 square feet.
The towers—each rising over 500 feet—will sit atop a shared podium with resort-style amenities, featuring sleek, curved architecture, glass façades, and expansive balconies that embrace the bayfront setting. A private 42-slip marina, over 100,000 square feet of amenity space, and generous landscaping complete the design.
The development, under the Special Area Plan (SAP), offers extensive public benefits including a new 9,000-square-foot waterfront park, over 1,200 linear feet of Island Walk, public art installations, and $5 million in seawall and utility infrastructure improvements.
The proposal is estimated to generate more than $110 million in property tax revenue over 20 years and has already contributed $10 million towards public infrastructure via TDRs, helping fund North Bay Village’s new City Hall.
Now under review by the Planning and Zoning Board, the project promises to redefine skyline living in this rapidly evolving bayfront community.
